Xpark is the first overseas branch of the Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise from Japan. Opened in 2019, it is a great excursion for kids to learn more about marine life. Experience the immersive and fun showcasing of different species as you stroll along to stunning exhibits that match the temperatures, humidity, and even aromas of real-world environments. There are four main zones: Formosa, Diving in Coral Sea, Rainforest Adventure, and Healing Jellyfish. You’ll see lots of sea creatures like stingrays, sharks, sea lions, and penguins. At the end of the tour, kids can color a sea creature on a device and upload the image to the 2D aquarium projected on a white wall. 1 hour from Taipei on the the train ride and a nice day excursion from Taipei.
