The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a memorial hall built to commemorate the former President Chiang Kai Shek. The main memorial hall is a white building with blue octagonal roof. Inside the hall is a huge statue of Chiang Kai Shek. There are two theaters and concert halls also inside the memorial hall square. Foreign cultural performances are all performed here. This is one of the main tourist attractions of Taipei but because of its vast area and beautiful architecture, it is a popular place for gatherings and wedding photography. On the weekend, it is packed with tourists and locals taking a stroll along the garden and feeding the fish in the pond.
