Mandarin Daily News is the newspaper for local primary school children. Its office building near GuTing Station is also the home to their offices, camp activities, and summer/winter Mandarin camps. The Mandarin camps for the overseas kids are on the lower floors, and the upper floors are class rooms for activities for local children. Their Mandarin summer/winter courses are full day or half day 3 weeks programs that starts in June. The children are separated into different levels depending on their Mandarin reading/writing level. Mandarin classes are held in the morning, and in the afternoon, children participate in culture activities. Mandarin Daily News is a good place to start if your children’s Mandarin is limited. This is a good program for them to learn Mandarin, mingle with kids from overseas and learn more about Chinese culture.
